Company

Company overview

Event promoters and venues use Ticketplus Ltd. to manage ticket sales, payments and admission. Under its Full Operation model, Ticketplus supplies the online sales platform, on-site equipment and staff, and customer support. It sells tickets as an agent for organizers and charges service fees linked to ticket face value, rather than earning the entire ticket price. This model generates most of its revenue.

Ticketplus also licenses the same technology to ticketing companies, venues, sports organizations and promoters that sell under their own brands. These White-Label clients retain their customer relationships and pay platform licensing fees tied to ticket volumes, with additional charges possible for implementation and custom features. This is the smaller revenue source.

Chile is currently the only market where customers contract its most comprehensive Full Operation service, so the main revenue engine remains concentrated there despite its wider presence across the Americas. No single client accounts for a material share of revenue. The business depends on organizers supplying events and consumers buying tickets; cancellations can also require Ticketplus to process refunds. Local rules shape its operations, including requirements to show all-in prices in Chile and to use local entities to process funds in some markets.

Ticketplus’s results hinge chiefly on Chilean live-event ticket volumes and full-operation fees; also watch CTS Eventim’s Punto Ticket, an important regional rival absent from this list.

  • Live Nation’s Ticketmaster competes with Ticketplus to handle initial ticket sales for promoters and venues, but greater live-event ticket sales benefit both through ticketing fees. Watch Live Nation’s Ticketing revenue rather than its concert revenue: it excludes ticket face value and is net of fees paid to ticketing clients, making it the closer comparison to Ticketplus’s ticketing service fees.
