TREASURE GLOBAL INC is a holding company whose operating business is TADAA Technologies, the developer of ZCITY. The app lets consumers shop with online and physical merchants in Malaysia and use reward points or ZCITY Cash Vouchers for checkout discounts. Rebates and rewards give shoppers reasons to return, while merchants gain a channel to reach customers.
The company buys e-voucher codes and other products from suppliers and sells them through ZCITY. Product sales, particularly e-vouchers, and the associated loyalty program account for almost all revenue. Healthcare and other products also contribute. Fees charged to merchants after successful sales and for facilitating payments are a much smaller source of revenue.
The business depends on shoppers continuing to buy through ZCITY and on suppliers keeping products available. Almost all purchases come from one vendor. It also relies on iPay88 to process card, online-banking and e-wallet payments, paying that partner a fee on processed transactions. Revenue currently comes entirely from Malaysia.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Treasure Global’s results hinge more on Malaysian e-voucher demand, the economics of its rewards program and stock availability from a highly concentrated vendor base than on the broader payments industry.
Grab competes with Treasure Global’s ZCITY for Malaysian consumers and food-and-beverage merchants through apps offering purchases, rewards and cashless payments; Grab collects fees from merchants and drivers, while ZCITY earns commissions on purchases. Watch Grab’s consumer and merchant incentives, which reduce its revenue and show the rewards ZCITY must compete against.
Alibaba’s Lazada marketplace competes with Treasure Global’s ZCITY for Malaysian online shoppers and merchants. Alibaba’s much broader business makes its overall results an imperfect guide to Treasure Global’s performance.

Grab Holdings' report will show how consumer and merchant incentives affect its revenue, revealing the rewards competition ZCITY faces for Malaysian users and merchants.
Grab Holdings operates far beyond Malaysia, so its overall figures are a competitive signal, not a Malaysia-only measure. Compare the effect of consumer and merchant incentives on revenue with revenue from merchants and drivers. If incentives rise faster than that revenue, Grab is spending more to attract users and merchants; ZCITY may face pressure to offer more, even though its product-and-loyalty gross margin was already -0.1% in fiscal 2026. If incentives ease while related revenue holds or grows, Grab is monetizing with less incentive burden: it is a capable competitor, not proof that the rewards contest has gone away.
