Sunshine Biopharma’s main business supplies generic prescription drugs to Canadian pharmacies, distributors and wholesalers. Its wholly owned subsidiary Nora Pharma obtains Canadian product rights from international drug manufacturers and buys finished medicines from them. It sells medicines under the Nora Pharma label after obtaining Health Canada approval, or distributes partners’ approved products under their labels for a share of sales.
This business depends on outside manufacturers: three overseas suppliers make most of the drugs in its portfolio. Canadian reimbursement rules govern pricing and which medicines qualify for coverage, while competing generics put pressure on selling prices. New product launches depend on regulatory approvals.
The company also develops and sells OTC supplements through Sunshine Biopharma Canada. These products are now sold exclusively through Amazon in Canada, with Amazon handling orders, fulfillment and customer service. It discontinued its U.S. Amazon sales operations in 2025.
Separately, Sunshine Biopharma is developing K1.1 mRNA for liver cancer and SBFM-PL4 for SARS coronavirus infections. These proprietary drug candidates have not entered clinical trials, and the company has made no regulatory filings seeking their approval. They do not generate commercial product revenue; the company has relied primarily on securities sales to fund operations.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Sunshine Biopharma’s commercial results depend on Canadian generic-drug sales, provincial pharmacy allowances, wholesaler fees and reliable finished-drug supply from international licensing partners—not the large drug developers named as research competitors.
Sunshine Biopharma Inc. earningsThis company
Sunshine Biopharma earns most of its revenue from Canadian generic-drug sales, and this report will show whether sales can outpace supply costs and pricing pressure.
Read Canadian generic-drug sales alongside cost of sales as a share of revenue. Growing sales with a falling cost share means more revenue is left after product costs; slower sales or a rising share means pricing, customer buying patterns, or supply costs are squeezing the business.
