Company

Company overview

Roze AI helps building owners and operators detect fire risks and coordinate fire prevention, suppression and alerts. Its South Korean subsidiary, Roze AI Korea, delivers DAP, the Disaster AI Platform. DAP combines wireless sensors, central monitoring software and AI analysis with digital models of buildings to assess conditions and simulate fire risks. Customers include public institutions, the military and large enterprises, as well as residential developments.

Most revenue comes from project-based product sales and system installations, rather than subscriptions. The business has moved from stand-alone equipment toward integrated systems that include risk diagnostics, sensor deployment, monitoring and long-term maintenance. DAP software is bundled with the equipment, not sold independently. Large-project customers generally pay an advance when work begins and installments as milestones are reached.

The business depends on construction and industrial projects securing financing and proceeding with work. Customers can defer or modify projects, and Roze AI generally receives no payment if a project never starts. Sales are concentrated among a limited number of customers, and two customers account for most outstanding trade receivables. Local sales channels also support a significant portion of sales, including installation, maintenance and upgrades.

Know what’s buried in RZAI’s filings before you buy

The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.

Roze AI’s near-term results hinge on South Korean construction starts and project financing, especially whether the large Inwoobus data-center contract gets underway.

  • Johnson Controls competes with Roze AI to supply building fire-detection and suppression systems to commercial, industrial and government customers; Roze AI names its Wireless Fire business as a primary competitor. Watch Johnson Controls’ maintenance and replacement business: its existing installations bring repeat work, competing with Roze AI’s push into integrated systems and long-term maintenance.

  • Honeywell competes with Roze AI in fire-detection, prevention and alert systems, but its aerospace, industrial and energy businesses make overall results a less direct comparison. Its Building Automation news is more relevant to Roze AI than total sales, particularly developments in building products and connected maintenance services.

Johnson Controls’ report will show whether commercial, industrial and government customers keep paying to maintain and replace installed fire systems, the same market Roze AI is pursuing with integrated systems and long-term maintenance.
