Quhuo supplies delivery teams to businesses such as Meituan and Taobao Shangou that need riders to fulfill food and grocery orders. It uses its Quhuo+ system to train workers, allocate staffing and monitor performance. Customers pay for completed orders, with fees adjusted for measures such as delivery timeliness and complaints. Quhuo pays workers through third-party labor-service companies, treating them as independent contractors.
Nearly all revenue comes from on-demand delivery, and a small group of customers, including Meituan and Taobao Shangou, supplies most of it. The business therefore depends on these relationships, delivery demand and keeping enough riders available at service fees that cover worker costs. Some courts have classified workers as employees or dispatched employees; broader reclassification could raise employment costs and require changes to the workforce model, since Chinese rules restrict the share of dispatched workers.
Quhuo is an offshore holding company. Because China restricts foreign investment in certain telecommunications services, it directs its main Chinese operating entities and receives their economic benefits through contracts rather than equity ownership.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Quhuo’s results depend overwhelmingly on Chinese food-delivery order volumes, customer fees and rider costs, making Meituan an important customer to watch even though it is missing from this list.
Quhuo’s delivery order volumes and fees are tied to Alibaba Group’s food-delivery business because Alibaba’s Taobao Shangou, formerly Ele.me, pays Quhuo to provide on-demand delivery services. Watch Taobao Shangou’s food-delivery orders and the fees it pays Quhuo.

Alibaba’s report will show food-delivery orders at Taobao Shangou, revealing the demand behind the orders and service fees Quhuo earns as its delivery provider.
Follow the chain from Taobao Shangou’s food-delivery orders to the service fees it pays Quhuo. More orders would point to stronger demand for Quhuo’s delivery work; fewer would put the orders Quhuo can fulfill and the related fees under pressure. The link still depends on how many orders Quhuo actually handles and customer-specific KPI adjustments to its fees.
