PRF Technologies Ltd. develops new formulations of established medicines. Its extended-release drug-delivery technology is designed to prolong pain relief after surgery without repeated dosing and reduce the need for opioids. OcuRing-K is now its main clinical focus. The drug business does not yet generate product revenue: its candidates need further clinical development and FDA or comparable foreign approval before the company can market them.
Its DeepSolar software compares solar equipment configurations and expected performance with actual output, diagnoses problems and recommends repairs. Solar-field operators pay for analytics platform services, generally priced according to their fields’ size or generating capacity. DeepSolar is still in early commercialization and has generated limited revenue. Building that business depends on turning free or low-cost pilots into paying contracts.
The company has funded itself mainly through share sales and convertible loans, rather than customer revenue. It needs additional financing to complete drug development and continue commercializing DeepSolar, and has no committed external funding source. DeepSolar also carries Israeli research-grant obligations: certain transfers of funded technology or manufacturing outside Israel require government consent.
