Company

Company overview

Through MSHKE and MSE, Ming Shing carries out plastering, tile laying and other building-finishing work for construction main contractors and other wet-trades subcontractors. Most work serves private residential and commercial developments, with a smaller public-sector business. The company manages and supervises projects and hires subcontractors to perform part of the site work. Customers generally pay monthly as work progresses.

Ming Shing usually wins projects through invitations to tender, pricing its bids by adding a markup to estimated costs. Its earnings depend on keeping subcontracting, materials and completion costs within budget: it generally cannot pass cost overruns or delay costs to customers. A handful of customers supplies nearly all construction revenue, without long-term contracts or obligations to award more work. New projects depend heavily on Hong Kong property development. Specialist-trade registration is generally required for subcontracting on government-initiated public projects; MSHKE holds a plastering registration that must be renewed.

A smaller business trades wines and spirits in Hong Kong through Value Bright International (HK) Limited. Its revenue comes entirely from one customer.

The company has also expanded through acquisitions into graphene-based thermal-management services through PMA Nano Carbon Tech Limited and organic agricultural-product supply-chain activities through Meal Though Seasons Limited. PMA is an early-stage business whose technology still needs to be commercialized and scaled. Continued operations depend on achieving profitability across existing and acquired businesses and obtaining additional funding.

PMA’s results hinge on Hong Kong construction awards and project margins, wine and spirits trading, and unproven new businesses, including graphene thermal-management subsidiary PMA Nano Carbon Tech Limited.

  • Masonglory Limited competes with PMA for Hong Kong residential and commercial subcontracting work such as plastering and tile laying, which PMA supplies to main contractors and other wet-trades subcontractors. Watch Masonglory’s residential-project revenue, its largest source of sales, for a read on demand for the same work PMA does.

  • Phoenix Asia Holdings Limited works at an earlier stage of Hong Kong construction than PMA: it prepares sites and builds foundations as a subcontractor, while PMA earns fees from contractors for later plastering and tile work on residential, commercial and public projects. Its public- and private-project revenue offers a view of construction activity before projects reach PMA’s stage of work.

  • Skyline Builders Group Holding Limited shares PMA’s exposure to Hong Kong public construction awards, but builds roads and drainage mainly as a subcontractor, while PMA supplies plastering and other wet-trades work to contractors on public housing, infrastructure and facilities. Watch Skyline’s public-project revenue, which made up all its revenue in the year ended March 31, 2026, versus 28.4% of PMA’s construction-services revenue in that period.
