Parabilis Medicines is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing medicines to act on proteins inside cells that conventional drugs have difficulty reaching. Its Helicon platform designs stabilized, spiral-shaped peptides to enter cells and bind these proteins, combining computational modeling with laboratory synthesis and testing. Its lead candidate is zolucatetide, which it plans to prioritize for desmoid tumors and other rare tumors.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals pays for access to this approach through a license and collaboration agreement covering specified targets. It agreed to an upfront payment, with further payments tied to development, regulatory and commercial milestones and royalties on any resulting sales. After selecting a licensed product, Regeneron controls its further development, manufacturing and worldwide commercialization. Parabilis cannot pursue competing products against the collaboration targets outside the agreement, subject to specified exceptions.
Parabilis has no approved products and has never generated product-sales revenue. It has financed operations mainly by raising investor capital, alongside borrowing. Advancing its medicines depends on additional funding, successful application of Helicon and clinical trials that support regulatory approval; it cannot commercially sell its candidates before approval. Income from the Regeneron programs also depends on that partner advancing them.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Parabilis’s outlook hinges on zolucatetide’s clinical progress and continued financing, while manufacturing depends on WuXi AppTec, Bachem Americas and sole drug-product supplier Alcami.
Immunome is preparing to sell varegacestat for desmoid tumors, putting it in competition for the patients Parabilis aims to treat with zolucatetide. Watch varegacestat’s approval progress and Immunome’s preparations to reach specialized US treatment centers, while Parabilis plans a global registrational Phase 3 trial in the first half of 2027.
Regeneron funds Parabilis in exchange for rights to develop and sell drugs from its Helicon programs, agreeing to a $50 million upfront payment and a conditional $75 million equity investment. Watch which products Regeneron selects to take over development, manufacturing and worldwide sales: their progress can bring Parabilis milestone payments and royalties.
Arvinas’s progress in drugs that remove disease-causing proteins offers a reference point for Parabilis’s Helicon degraders, though Arvinas uses a different platform, PROTAC. Watch development of its vepdegestrant program as evidence for this treatment approach, not direct validation of Parabilis’s Helicon drugs.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc earningsREGN
Regeneron's report may show whether it is advancing a Parabilis Helicon collaboration target, bringing Parabilis closer to potential milestone payments and royalties.
Look for any disclosure that Regeneron has selected or advanced a target from its Parabilis collaboration; progress on Regeneron's other drugs is not evidence about this deal. Such an update would show Regeneron is putting development resources behind the target, moving Parabilis toward potential milestone payments and later royalties. No update leaves the timing unclear; it does not prove the program has stopped.
Immunome, Inc. earningsIMNM
Immunome's report can show how close its desmoid-tumor drug varegacestat is to approval and reaching US specialist centers, where it could compete with Parabilis for the same patients.
Read Immunome's updates on varegacestat's regulatory progress and preparations to reach US specialist centers against Parabilis's planned Phase 3 registrational trial in the first half of 2027. If varegacestat moves closer to approval and those centers, Immunome could reach the same desmoid-tumor patients first; delays would reduce the near-term competitive pressure, but would not show that zolucatetide works. The question is who may reach patients sooner, not which drug will succeed.
Parabilis Medicines, Inc. earningsThis company
Parabilis Medicines has no products generating sales, so its cash use and research and development spending show whether new funding is advancing its Helicon medicines.
Read cash used in operations and research and development spending by program alongside the development progress Parabilis reports. If cash use rises as zolucatetide and other programs advance, the funding is translating into development progress; if cash use accelerates without comparable progress, the runway shortens and Parabilis may have to slow or narrow its programs. The test is whether its funding can support its development plan.
