Owlet helps parents monitor their babies at home. Its wearable Dream Sock measures pulse rate, oxygen levels and sleep, with readings and notifications delivered through the Owlet Dream App where authorized. Dream Sight adds audio and video monitoring, and Dream Duo combines the camera and wearable.
Product sales generate nearly all revenue. Families buy directly from Owlet or through retailers such as Amazon, Target and Walmart, which purchase inventory for resale. A few large retail customers account for most revenue, so their willingness to stock products—and families’ purchases from them—matter greatly. Families pay for these consumer products without third-party insurance reimbursement. Owlet360 subscriptions add a smaller, growing source of recurring income from personalized health, development and sleep trends.
Medical-device rules limit what Owlet can sell and what its products can do. Dream Sock’s health features vary by market; the Canadian version does not provide live health readings or health notifications. BabySat, its wearable monitor for physician-supervised infant care, is available only by prescription in the United States and cannot use the same direct-to-consumer sales model.
Owlet also depends on outside manufacturers and functioning mobile apps. Benchmark Electronics is the sole manufacturer of Dream Sock and BabySat, while Aoni makes Dream Sight. App availability through Apple and Google is essential to subscriptions and much of the devices’ functionality.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Owlet’s results hinge on parents’ demand for infant monitors and subscriptions, while production depends on Benchmark for wearable monitors and Shenzhen Aoni Electronic for Dream Sight.
Owlet depends on Benchmark Electronics to build its core wearable infant monitors, paying it to procure materials, assemble and test Dream Sock, BabySat and Dream Duo. Benchmark holds exclusive manufacturing rights for Dream Sock and Dream Duo through May 31, 2027, making news about that production agreement worth watching for Owlet’s supply.
Benchmark Electronics earningsBHE
Benchmark Electronics makes Owlet's core monitors, and its report offers a read on demand and costs at that manufacturer, not on Owlet's specific orders or output.
Look at what Benchmark Electronics says about demand and margins in its manufacturing business. Stronger demand with margins holding would point to firmer conditions at the supplier that makes Owlet's Dream Sock, BabySat and Dream Duo; weaker demand or narrowing margins would point to greater pressure there. Neither outcome proves anything about Owlet's own orders, production capacity or deliveries, so the conclusion is about the operating conditions at a key supplier, not Owlet's actual supply.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
The Fed’s policy-rate decision signals the direction of borrowing costs; it can change interest on Owlet’s variable-rate WTI loan and the cash left after debt payments.

If it comes in above expectations
A higher-than-expected rate can raise interest on the WTI loan, leaving less cash for Owlet’s operations; the loan’s 12% rate floor means a cut may not lower interest if the rate is already at the floor.
If it comes in below expectations
A lower-than-expected rate can reduce interest on the WTI loan if its rate is above the 12% floor, leaving more cash for Owlet’s operations; a rate increase may not raise interest if the floor already applies.

Owlet's report will show whether growth in Dream Sock and Dream Duo sales is turning into more gross profit after product costs and tariffs.
Read revenue alongside gross margin, the share of sales left after direct product costs. Rising revenue with a steady or higher margin means more sales are not being eaten up by a larger share of product costs; weaker revenue and a falling margin point to pressure from demand, costs, or both. Then check whether operating cash is still flowing out: improving sales and margin with less cash used would show growth easing operating and funding pressure, while continued outflows would mean that pressure remains.
Retail Sales MoM (Oct)
Retail sales track what consumers spend at stores; because demand for Owlet’s Dream Sock and Dream Duo drove most of its 2025 revenue growth, stronger or weaker spending can flow through retailer orders to Owlet’s product revenue.
Rising retail sales point to stronger consumer spending that may support orders for Owlet’s Dream Sock and Dream Duo; falling sales point to weaker spending that may reduce those orders and Owlet’s product revenue.
