Company

Company overview

MKDWELL Tech Inc. supplies electronics that control functions such as camper-van equipment and vehicle seats. Automobile and component manufacturers buy its automotive products, while industrial and consumer electronics manufacturers buy its other electronics. It develops and builds products to customer specifications and also supplies existing designs that customers can sell under their own brands. It has a design center in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and a manufacturing plant in Jiaxing, mainland China. Product sales provide most of its revenue; processing products on customers’ behalf contributes a smaller share.

The business relies heavily on a small group of buyers, with one customer supplying the majority of revenue. Automotive orders depend on vehicle production and demand, including the success of models that use its components.

MKDWELL already sells camping-vehicle components, including customized equipment supplied with cloud software services. It has not started selling or leasing camper vehicles or operating campsites. Its campsite plan has been postponed amid uncertainty over land acquisition and investment.

Continued operations depend on obtaining financing and achieving operating profitability. Restrictions on moving funds out of mainland China can also limit the offshore holding company’s access to cash generated by its Chinese subsidiaries.
