Company

Company overview

Millennium Group International Holdings Limited supplies paper-based inner and outer packaging to trading companies and factories that make goods for brands. Headquartered in Hong Kong, it operates production facilities in mainland China and Vietnam. Packaging products generate most revenue, followed by corrugated products, and most sales are delivered in mainland China. Customers pay for the finished products; design, material procurement, testing and delivery are generally included rather than charged separately.

The company also manages packaging supply chains for customers. It designs the packaging, specifies materials, contracts manufacturers and arranges delivery, allowing it to fulfill orders without making every product itself. This is a smaller part of the business.

Sales depend heavily on a small group of customers, with one customer contributing a substantial share. Customers place orders as needed rather than committing through long-term agreements. Paper is the principal raw material, and selling prices reflect costs plus an intended margin, but negotiations can delay price increases when production costs rise. The holding company also depends on funds from its operating subsidiaries: mainland Chinese subsidiaries can distribute only accumulated distributable profits after required reserves, and foreign-exchange rules can restrict transfers to the parent.
