Linkers Industries Limited operates through a manufacturing subsidiary in Malaysia. It assembles wires and cables into harnesses that carry electrical power or signals within customers’ products and systems. Buyers are mainly global-brand manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers in home appliances, industrial products and automotive, mostly based in Asia Pacific. Linkers works with them on design and prototypes, then produces harnesses to their specifications. Customers place purchase orders with agreed quantities, prices and delivery dates; harness sales generate the company’s revenue.
Most revenue comes from its five largest customers, none of which has a long-term purchase agreement. Continued business therefore depends on these customers placing new orders. Production also depends on third-party supplies of wires, connectors and terminals, without long-term supplier contracts, and higher material costs may not be passed on to customers promptly. Its products must meet customer specifications, safety requirements and applicable standards, including European Union restrictions on hazardous substances.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Linkers Industries Limited’s results hinge on wiring-harness orders from mainly Asia-Pacific appliance, industrial and automotive manufacturers, with its five largest customers accounting for 84.5% of revenue.
