Corporate customers hire Lucas GC Limited to design, develop and deliver mostly technology-related projects within agreed budgets and deadlines. These outsourcing projects generate the bulk of its revenue. Customers normally test the completed work, and payment generally follows project acceptance and satisfaction of agreed performance requirements. Substantially all revenue comes from China.
Recruitment is a smaller but important business. Its Columbus and Star Career platforms connect corporate customers with professionals and freelance talent scouts. They use AI and data analytics to recommend jobs and candidates through users’ personal networks. The company earns revenue from permanent and flexible-employment recruitment; for flexible employment, it collects a service fee and the candidate’s salary package, then pays the candidate and deducts applicable taxes.
A limited group of corporate customers supplies a significant share of revenue. The business also depends on retaining platform users and on outside agents and service providers to find and help deliver outsourcing projects. Chinese data-protection and online-content rules constrain platform operations. The company treats platform users as independent contractors; reclassification as employees or dispatched workers could require changes to its operating model and additional employment costs.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Lucas GC’s results now depend chiefly on Chinese companies buying outsourced IT projects to streamline processes and cut labor costs, rather than on recruitment demand alone.
Kanzhun competes with Lucas GC for Chinese employers paying to find and match with job seekers, but recruitment accounted for only 10.7% of Lucas GC’s revenue in 2025. Watch Kanzhun’s revenue from employers paying to post jobs and communicate with candidates for a read on demand in this smaller part of Lucas GC’s business.
KANZHUN LIMITED earningsBZ
Kanzhun’s report will show whether Chinese employers are spending more or less on online recruitment, a demand signal for Lucas GC’s smaller recruitment business.
Look at Kanzhun’s revenue from employers paying to post jobs and contact candidates. If it strengthens, employers’ recruitment spending appears more resilient, a better demand backdrop for Lucas GC’s recruitment services. If it weakens, employers are still tightening recruitment budgets, making recovery in that part of Lucas GC’s business harder.
