Company

Company overview

JX Luxventure Limited supplies goods for business customers to sell through online and offline channels in China. Cross-border merchandise generates most of its revenue. It buys products, including Flower Crown-branded goods, from outside suppliers, holds them in warehouses and distributes them to customers. These purchases are non-refundable, so it bears the risk of unsold inventory rather than simply connecting buyers and sellers.

Airline-ticket resale is its other substantial business: travel agencies submit ticket requests, and JX Luxventure supplies the tickets. Travel packages contribute little to this business. A smaller software operation helps business partners forecast demand and manage merchandise and customer relationships; customers receive the first year free and then pay licensing fees.

Revenue depends heavily on a small group of business customers, including Hefei Liantuo Tianji E-commerce Co., Ltd. Major customer relationships are based on short-term projects that either party can end at will. Sales also depend on customers’ platforms and third-party suppliers and logistics providers. The listed company is a holding company whose operations sit in Chinese subsidiaries; access to their cash is subject to Chinese rules limiting profit distributions and cross-border transfers.

JX Luxventure’s results hinge on Chinese demand for imported consumer goods—especially cosmetics, high-margin luxury vehicles and yachts—and airline-ticket resales, while the named wholesalers have little overlap in products, buyers or markets.
