Company

Company overview

Singapore-based JE Cleantech Holdings Limited builds cleaning equipment for hard-disk-drive, semiconductor and industrial electronics manufacturers, mainly in Singapore and Malaysia. Its engineers assess each customer’s requirements, agree on a design and price, then manufacture and test the system at its JCS Facility. These equipment orders provide most of the company’s revenue.

A substantial second business serves food and beverage establishments in Singapore. The company collects dirty dishware, washes it at the JCS Facility and returns it daily, reducing customers’ need for dishwashing staff and space. Food courts and hawker centers can also pay for combined dishwashing and on-site cleaning, with most on-site work outsourced. Customers generally pay fixed monthly fees.

The business relies heavily on a single customer group that manufactures hard disk drives and semiconductors. Equipment sales depend on repeat orders from existing customers, but each order is a separate contract and customers need not place another. Dishwashing and cleaning customers are likewise not obliged to renew their service agreements.

JE Cleantech Holdings Limited’s results depend on repeat precision-cleaning equipment orders from a concentrated manufacturing customer base and demand for centralized dishwashing services in Singapore; this list offers no meaningful window into either.
