Identiv, Inc., now named INVE Technologies, Inc., makes small electronic devices that attach to or sit inside physical items so they can be identified, tracked and authenticated digitally. Its products primarily use radio-frequency identification (RFID), with Bluetooth Low Energy also in its range. Applications include tracking goods in logistics, identifying medical-device consumables and connecting packaging to digital information. The company sold its physical-security, access-card and identity-reader businesses in 2024; its remaining business supplies these connected devices.
Channel partners buy its devices and incorporate them into products or systems for end customers. These partners include companies that turn RFID components into finished labels, system integrators and solution providers. Identiv focuses on more complex, customized devices and has exited some low-margin work. A small group of large customers supplies most of its revenue, with one customer accounting for a significant share.
Sales depend on end customers adopting RFID and moving projects into deployment, which can take longer in regulated industries such as healthcare. Selling through intermediaries limits Identiv’s visibility into that demand. All RFID inlay, tag and label production is concentrated at its sole manufacturing facility in Thailand, with no backup facility.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Identiv’s remaining IoT business depends on specialty RFID adoption, large-customer order timing, competitive pricing pressure and reaching manufacturing scale in Thailand—not on the markets of the supplied companies.

Identiv’s report will show whether higher RFID shipments are helping its Thailand factory run more fully and improve gross margin.
Read revenue alongside gross margin. Revenue growth with gross margin above 2025’s 6.1% would show that more shipments and better factory utilization are improving the IoT business’s unit economics. Revenue growth without a higher margin would show that added volume still is not covering manufacturing costs well enough.
