Intapp helps law firms, accounting and consulting firms, and investment businesses manage client relationships and the work those relationships generate. Its software connects client, relationship and deal information with workflows such as taking on new clients, checking compliance, and recording and billing time. DealCloud, for example, manages client relationships, deals and engagements. Intapp embeds AI in its software to help firms use their data.
These firms pay subscription fees, generally based on the users and software modules they deploy. Cloud subscriptions provide most revenue; software licenses and implementation, integration and training services contribute smaller shares. Intapp sells mainly through its own sales team and generally collects payment annually in advance.
The business depends on clients renewing subscriptions, adding users or capabilities, and moving existing software to the cloud. Further growth also depends on their willingness to adopt its cloud and AI offerings. Because the software handles sensitive client information, privacy and data-protection laws restrict how Intapp processes, stores and transfers personal data, including how it uses that data to train AI.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Salesforce competes with Intapp DealCloud for firms’ spending on software that manages client relationships and develops new business, selling a broad customer relationship platform rather than Intapp’s industry-specific tools. Watch Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 workflow offerings for how its broader platform competes with DealCloud’s relationship and deal management.
Intapp pays Microsoft for cloud services that are an important input to the software it sells to professional and investment firms as subscriptions. Its minimum $110 million spending commitment runs through December 2028, with an option to extend the remainder through December 2029; $54 million remained at June 30, 2026, making Microsoft’s cloud services a concrete dependency as Intapp’s subscription business grows.
HubSpot gives firms a cross-industry alternative to Intapp DealCloud for managing client relationships and tracking new-business opportunities, competing for the same software spending. Its paid sales tools, available separately or alongside its other products, are the part of HubSpot’s offering to watch against DealCloud’s industry-specific relationship and deal management.

SaaS subscriptions are Intapp’s main source of revenue, and this report will show whether the cost of delivering them is keeping pace with growth.
Read SaaS revenue growth alongside gross margin—the share of revenue left after direct delivery costs. If SaaS revenue keeps growing while gross margin holds or improves, new clients, added use by existing clients and cloud migrations are expanding subscriptions without delivery costs taking too much of the gain. Slower revenue growth or a falling margin would point to weaker subscription momentum or a higher cost to serve clients. Together, these figures show whether Intapp’s subscription engine is expanding efficiently.
Microsoft Corp earningsMSFT
Microsoft’s report will show how its cloud business is developing, offering a signal about the supplier Intapp relies on without revealing Intapp’s own service quality or costs.
Look at Microsoft’s reported cloud growth and related operating results. Continued growth would show that the supplier Intapp relies on is expanding, supporting a scaled platform for Intapp’s subscription services; slowing growth or operating pressure would make the supplier backdrop less reassuring. Microsoft’s overall results cannot show Intapp’s actual prices, service reliability or delivery costs. The takeaway is whether the supplier environment looks strong, not whether Intapp itself has a service problem.
HUBSPOT, INC. earningsHUBS
HubSpot’s report will show demand for its sales tools, a signal of the competition Intapp’s DealCloud faces for firms’ client-relationship and new-business software budgets.
Look at HubSpot’s overall growth and customer results, keeping in mind that it does not report its sales tools separately. Strong results would suggest that a cross-industry sales platform is still attracting buyers, so competition for firms’ client-relationship and new-business budgets remains active. Weaker results would signal less momentum for this alternative, but would not show that professional and investment firms are switching to DealCloud. The takeaway is the level of competition for similar budgets, not whether Intapp has won business.
