Company

Company overview

Healthy Choice Wellness Corp., now named Host Digital Inc., owns subsidiaries that sell natural and organic groceries, dietary supplements and personal-care products to shoppers. Retail grocery sales provide most revenue, with food service and restaurant sales contributing a smaller share. Its stores also offer prepared meals and fresh-baked goods.

The company runs Healthy U Wholesale through TheVitaminStore.com, selling vitamins, supplements and health and beauty products, including Ada’s Naturals. Online sales contribute very little revenue; the business is overwhelmingly store-based.

Keeping those stores supplied depends on several major distributors. KeHe is the primary supplier of dry groceries and frozen foods, under an agreement that sets prices at supplier cost plus a markup and generally requires minimum annual purchases. The retail business also depends heavily on leased premises.

Host Digital’s results hinge on natural-food store sales and purchasing margins, making private distributor KeHE worth watching: it supplies 31% of purchases and replaced UNFI as the primary dry-grocery and frozen-food supplier in 2025.

  • NATURAL GROCERS BY VITAMIN COTTAGE, INC and Host Digital vie for health-conscious shoppers, both selling natural and organic groceries and dietary supplements under strict ingredient standards. Its grocery and supplement sales offer a read on demand from the customers Host Digital also serves.

  • Sprouts Farmers Market competes with Host Digital for shoppers buying fresh, natural and organic groceries, vitamins and personal-care products. Fresh-food sales are especially worth watching: perishables made up 57.0% of Sprouts’ sales in 2025, giving a view of demand in a grocery category both retailers sell.
