Company

Company overview

Global Mofy AI helps customers create visual effects and virtual content for films, television, animation, advertising and games. Its Mofy Lab platform turns real-world objects into 3D digital assets and supports content design, production and integration. Production services bring in most of its revenue. Customers generally agree to a fixed project price and pay in stages, with final payment tied to completion and acceptance.

The company also earns substantial revenue by licensing digital assets and copyrights it owns. Customers pay for rights to use assets in their productions or to produce, adapt and sublicense copyrighted works. Most asset licenses are non-exclusive, so Global Mofy AI can earn fees repeatedly from the same asset.

Most revenue comes from customers in metaverse and digital entertainment, and one customer supplies a meaningful share of sales. Business therefore depends on demand in those industries and on delivering work that meets customers’ timing and quality requirements. Operations are conducted substantially through Chinese subsidiaries. The Cayman Islands parent relies on their distributions for cash, but Chinese profit-distribution rules and currency controls restrict how funds can move to it.

Global Mofy’s results depend more on entertainment producers’ spending on visual effects and reusable 3D assets, project completion and customer acceptance than on NVIDIA’s broader chip cycle.

  • Global Mofy relies on NVIDIA’s RTX graphics processors and Omniverse technology within Gausspeed, its platform for creating digital content for entertainment producers. NVIDIA’s RTX and Omniverse developments are therefore more directly relevant to Global Mofy than its broader data-center or gaming business.
