Company

Company overview

Fusemachines serves organizations that want to connect AI to their data, systems and workflows. Its engineers work with customer teams to customize models, integrate and deploy solutions, and build bespoke applications where needed. Customers can buy software, services or both, but AI implementation and related services generate nearly all revenue; software sales contribute little. Most revenue comes from customers in the United States.

Its AI Studio platform connects enterprise data and supports the development, deployment and management of AI applications. AI Engines build on that platform for specific business problems, while AI Agents use the engines to automate workflows and interact with users or systems. Delivering these solutions depends heavily on its international workforce, particularly staff performing services from Nepal.

A small group of large customers supplies a significant share of revenue, and expansion of existing customer relationships is important to the business. Contracts are generally short-term, do not necessarily renew automatically and often allow early termination, making renewals and broader deployments important to continued revenue. AI rules, including the EU AI Act’s transparency, human-oversight and high-risk assessment requirements, can require product changes or restrict capabilities. Continued operations also depend on obtaining additional financial support and ultimately generating profits and positive operating cash flow.

Fusemachines’ results depend mainly on winning and retaining US enterprise AI implementation contracts, while software licensing remains an insignificant revenue source.

  • Brand Engagement Network competes for enterprise spending with configurable AI agents that overlap with Fusemachines’ agents and custom AI implementation work. Watch its healthcare deployments and pilots, including tools that help patients engage with providers and navigate care, for signs of competition in a market Fusemachines also serves.

  • Unisys and Fusemachines both compete for enterprise clients’ technology implementation and integration work, but Unisys serves a much broader range of IT needs. Its workplace IT services, which use data, analytics and AI to support employees’ devices and applications, offer a view of spending on operational modernization rather than AI implementation alone.
