Laundries, hotels, hospitals and other organizations pay EVI Industries, Inc. to equip and maintain their laundry operations. Through its subsidiaries, the company buys equipment from manufacturers and sells or leases it to customers, alongside parts and services. Its core business covers commercial and industrial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment and boilers, with work ranging from planning a laundry facility to installing equipment and maintaining or repairing it.
Its customers are widely spread, with no single customer supplying a large share of revenue. Product sourcing is more concentrated: a small group of manufacturers supplies most of its purchases. Filling customer orders therefore depends on access to those suppliers’ products and continued supplier relationships; some supply agreements can be ended on short notice.
EVI also entered consumer garment care through its completed acquisition of Sudsies, which charges consumers for cleaning, alterations and repairs. This is a new business alongside its established equipment distribution and service operations. Garment care involves regulated chemicals, and environmental requirements can require changes to chemicals or equipment and investigation or cleanup of contamination.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
EVI’s results hinge on laundry-equipment spending, acquisition execution and concentrated relationships with manufacturers such as Girbau, Dexter Laundry and Pellerin Milnor—not Fulton Financial, which is unrelated to supplier Fulton Thermal.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
EVI’s policy-rate exposure runs through its $51.0 million of floating-rate credit-facility debt: changes in U.S. borrowing rates can change the interest it pays.

If it comes in below expectations

EVI Industries, Inc. earningsThis company
EVI Industries’ report will show whether acquired sales and a more favorable product and customer mix can outweigh the added costs of supporting growth.
Read gross margin alongside selling, general and administrative expenses as a share of revenue. A higher margin with a lower expense share would mean product and customer mix gains are outpacing the cost of expansion; a falling margin or rising expense share would mean acquisition and growth costs are squeezing the profit EVI keeps from sales.
