Company

Company overview

Everbright Digital Holding Limited helps corporate clients plan and run marketing campaigns through its Hong Kong operating subsidiary, HKUML. It turns clients’ marketing goals and target audiences into campaign plans, assigns work to its own team and outside suppliers, and oversees delivery. Projects can combine branded characters and marketing materials with social media promotion, events, and virtual or augmented reality experiences.

Comprehensive marketing packages account for almost all revenue, rather than separately sold virtual- or augmented-reality work. Clients generally pay fixed project prices in stages, with part billed on completion. The company builds its quotes from expected project costs plus a markup, so earnings depend on the fees charged and the cost of delivering the work.

Revenue comes predominantly from metaverse and digital-entertainment customers and is concentrated among a small group of clients. The business therefore depends heavily on those clients’ continued spending and on demand in their industry.

  • Star Fashion overlaps with Everbright Digital in planning branded events and content campaigns for paying clients, with both relying on outside suppliers to produce campaign materials. Watch Star Fashion’s event-planning and execution revenue for a comparison with Everbright Digital’s event work for corporate clients.

  • TNL Mediagene offers a comparison for Everbright Digital’s corporate marketing strategy, creative design and market research services, but mainly serves Japan and Taiwan rather than Hong Kong. Watch its digital studio revenue, earned largely through multi-year corporate engagements, when assessing Everbright Digital’s broader marketing packages.

  • IZEA Worldwide overlaps with Everbright Digital in running influencer, social-media and custom-content campaigns for corporate marketers, though IZEA mainly serves North America. Its campaign-management business, sold to brands directly or through advertising and public-relations agencies, is the relevant comparison for Everbright Digital’s social-media services—not its limited platform-access revenue.
