Company

Company overview

Decent Holding Inc. serves customers mainly in construction, agri-food processing and automotive manufacturing through Shandong Dingxin Ecology Environmental Co., Ltd. River water quality management is its largest revenue source: customers pay for engineering work that removes sediment, restores river environments and uses aeration and microorganisms to reduce pollution. Wastewater treatment is the other major service. For protein-rich wastewater from food processing, the company recovers proteins and other usable materials while treating water for reuse.

It also sells microbial products and agents for treating foul-smelling polluted water, both within projects and separately; these sales contribute a smaller share of revenue. The business relies heavily on a handful of customers. Shandong Zhiqiong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shandong Rensheng Construction Group Co., Ltd. together supply most of its revenue, making continued project orders from major customers important.

The Cayman Islands parent has no material operations of its own and depends on dividends from its Chinese operating subsidiary for cash. Chinese rules limit those dividends to accumulated profits after required reserves, while currency-conversion and remittance controls can restrict cash transfers out of China.

Decent Holding Inc's results hinge on its concentrated Chinese construction customers, especially Shandong Zhiqiong Construction Engineering and Shandong Rensheng Construction Group, rather than the aerospace business of its named historical competitor General Electric.

  • CDT Environmental Technology Investment Holdings Limited competes with Decent Holding Inc for construction-led wastewater-treatment projects in China, supplying equipment and services while Decent earns fees from treatment engineering and sells water-treatment products. Watch CDT's rural sewage-treatment equipment and service revenue: it typically supplies state-owned construction companies that win local-government projects, offering a read on the construction-led demand both businesses serve.
