Company

Company overview

Eason Technology Limited’s largest revenue source is real estate operation management in China. Property owners and businesses pay it to advise on asset use and operating strategy, manage leases and maintenance, and oversee renovations. It earns consulting and management fees and can share in gains from asset appreciation. It also owns properties and assets that generate rent and investment returns.

Its other business, based in Hong Kong, helps enterprises protect critical data by designing and implementing digital security strategies for consulting fees. It also sells consumers hardware intended to protect privacy and data security. These businesses replaced its former microfinance lending operation, which it sold after suspending new loans.

Revenue depends on customers’ project budgets and timing; constrained budgets have led customers to postpone work. Eason is a Cayman Islands holding company operating mainly through Chinese subsidiaries. Cash reaching the parent depends partly on subsidiary dividends, which Chinese rules limit to accumulated profits after required reserves.
