Company

Company overview

Datasea Intelligent Technology Ltd. helps businesses communicate with customers, run digital marketing and digitize operations. Enterprise customers pay for communication services, customized solutions and technical support. Existing digital services still supply most revenue, led by standardized communication services, even as Datasea scales back some lower-margin activities.

The company is developing AI agents that connect to customers’ business systems to generate marketing content, handle customer interactions and carry out store workflows. These agents have begun entering enterprise use but remain a small revenue contributor. Customers pay under service contracts or according to computing and task usage. Continuing revenue depends on customers using the agents in daily operations, while service profitability depends partly on model, cloud and third-party platform costs.

A smaller business sells sound- and ultrasound-based health devices and related services to households, commercial customers and health-service providers, directly and through channel partners. Tianer air-health and Xingmei sleep-health products have reached paid commercial use. NeuroVibe, a biofeedback system that combines signal collection with acoustic stimulation, remains in regulatory and delivery preparation. Its pre-sale agreements do not guarantee revenue. U.S. FDA establishment registration and device listing are not approval or clearance; sales and medical claims remain subject to applicable requirements.

Datasea is a British Virgin Islands holding company. Substantially all operating revenue comes through Shuhai Beijing and its subsidiaries in China. Datasea relies on contracts rather than equity ownership to direct Shuhai Beijing and receive its economic benefits, and Chinese cross-border payment rules restrict access to that cash offshore.

Datasea still relies chiefly on Chinese businesses’ demand for digital services as it commercializes acoustic products and AI agents, with QuickCEP and DeepScience among its more closely matched rivals.

  • Xiao-I and Datasea both depend on Chinese businesses paying for AI customer interaction and digital automation: Xiao-I sells business chatbots, customized AI services and model access. Watch its model-access revenue for a read on demand as Datasea develops agent services that charge for model use and task execution.

  • VIDA Global Inc. overlaps with Datasea’s push to sell businesses AI agents that handle customers and carry out tasks through connected business systems, with charges tied to usage. Watch customer use of VIDA’s platform, which generates substantially all its revenue, as a gauge of businesses’ willingness to keep using these agents.

  • Cheetah Mobile and Datasea both draw on businesses’ spending to win customers: Cheetah sells advertising and overseas ad-agency services, while Datasea provides digital marketing and develops agents to run campaigns. Cheetah’s advertising and agency revenue is the line to watch for this shared demand, rather than its robotics business.

  • SoundHound AI and Datasea both need businesses to adopt automated customer service: SoundHound sells subscriptions that handle ordering, appointments and customer service by voice, while Datasea deploys voice-and-text agents for customer interaction and store operations. Watch SoundHound’s service-subscription revenue for evidence of adoption, rather than royalties from voice-enabled cars and devices.
