Company

Company overview

Diginex helps companies turn sustainability and supply-chain information into reports and identify problems that need action. DiginexESG collects corporate data and prepares sustainability disclosures; Lumen checks supplier assessments against worker feedback gathered through Apprise to identify human-rights risks. Plan A helps organizations measure and report greenhouse-gas emissions and plan reductions. Software supplies most revenue, with customers typically paying annual subscriptions in advance.

The company also serves investors through Matter, which sells subscriptions to sustainability datasets and portfolio-analysis tools. DiginexADVISORY and The Remedy Project charge for consulting, training and human-rights work, including projects linked to the software.

Subscription renewals are important, but the revenue mix also depends on large licensing deals. A substantial share of revenue came from a one-off sale to a client licensed to distribute a version of DiginexESG under its own brand in Indonesia. Diginex is entitled to share in that client’s future revenue only after an agreed threshold is reached. Demand depends partly on sustainability-reporting requirements and customers’ willingness to adopt and keep using its services. The company is not currently profitable.

Diginex Limited’s results hinge on adoption of its sustainability software and ESG data, acquisition integration and large white-label licensing deals: an Indonesian sale contributed $1.6 million of its $3.6 million annual revenue.
