Company

Company overview

Cardio Diagnostics Holdings helps clinicians assess coronary heart disease through two blood tests: Epi+Gen CHD estimates the risk of a future disease event, while PrecisionCHD detects the disease. The tests combine genetic information and chemical markers on DNA with machine-learning analysis to provide clinicians with personalized insights.

Its commercial focus is selling testing through healthcare providers, channel partners and employers. Prices vary by customer organization and test volume. Without insurance coverage, patients may face higher out-of-pocket costs. An earlier testing initiative at Family Medicine Specialists has ended; newly onboarded organizations are generally smaller and take time to build test usage.

The company has not yet generated significant product-sale revenue and funds operations mainly by issuing shares. Wider adoption depends on insurance reimbursement, inclusion in clinical guidelines and routine use by providers. Neither test has broad insurance coverage, and billing codes and payment rates do not themselves establish coverage. Epi+Gen CHD may be classified as a screening test, which traditional Medicare generally cannot cover without a statutory provision. The testing laboratories must also meet U.S. laboratory-quality requirements.

Know what’s buried in CDIO’s filings before you buy

The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.

Cardio Diagnostics Holdings Inc.’s results hinge on payer coverage and sustained testing volumes from healthcare providers; cardiovascular alternatives such as Prevencio’s blood tests matter more directly than the supplied companies.
