Bgin Blockchain Limited runs its own mining machines at farms in Nebraska, earning cryptocurrency rewards that it converts into cash to fund operations. Almost all of its mining revenue comes from KAS. It typically exchanges mined coins for Tether (USDT), then converts USDT into conventional currency. It used Kraken alone for the first conversion step in its latest fiscal year. A substantial share of company revenue also comes from mining through a third-party pool associated with one unnamed Hong Kong customer.
The company also sells machines it designs to mining businesses, distributors and individual miners through iceriver.io. Customers place orders, and Bgin then commissions outside manufacturers to assemble the machines. Sales now contribute less revenue than self-mining, and most machine sales are for ALEO mining. Customers can also pay Bgin to install and operate their machines at its farms. Its separate mining-pool service retains part of participants’ coin rewards as fees, but the company is winding down that business.
Mining returns depend on coin prices covering electricity and equipment costs, as well as how difficult it is to earn rewards on the network. Lower KAS prices have made most of Bgin’s owned machines uneconomical to run, leaving them idle. Both its mining operations and machine sales depend on outside component suppliers, including a single foundry that makes its self-designed mining chips.
China’s restrictions on cryptocurrency mining prompted Bgin to relocate mining operations to the United States. Its choice of coins also has legal limits: if relevant crypto assets are classified as securities and Bgin falls under U.S. investment-company rules, it could have to register, restructure or cease almost all business.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Bitdeer competes with Bgin Blockchain Limited in selling miners machines built with their own chips and charging to house and run customers’ equipment, but Bitdeer mines mainly Bitcoin while BGIN mines mainly KAS. Bitdeer’s SEALMINER launches show the Bitcoin equipment BGIN’s developing BT1 miner would face.
Canaan already sells miners Bitcoin machines with its own purpose-built chips, making it an established rival as Bgin Blockchain Limited develops its first Bitcoin miner. Canaan’s AvalonMiner industrial machines and Avalon Home devices show the product range BGIN would face.
BTC Digital Ltd. resells mining machines to the same type of miners Bgin Blockchain Limited targets with its own designs, although BTC Digital mines Bitcoin rather than focusing on KAS. Its machine-resale revenue is the line to watch for demand from those equipment buyers; resale contributed 72.5% of its revenue in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025.
SAIHEAT Limited overlaps with Bgin Blockchain Limited by selling mining equipment to customers and mining cryptocurrencies itself, but emphasizes Bitcoin equipment and systems that recover mining heat. Its equipment-sales revenue offers a comparison for BGIN’s machine business, though SAIHEAT’s sales also include outdoor computing containers.
BitFuFu competes with Bgin Blockchain Limited for customers who want mining rewards without running equipment: customers pay BitFuFu for mining computing power through cloud mining, while BGIN sells machines with optional hosting. BitFuFu’s cloud-mining revenue, especially from major customers, is the line to watch for demand for this alternative to buying and hosting machines.

Canaan’s report will show whether miners are still buying purpose-built Bitcoin machines, the market BGIN would enter with its first Bitcoin miner.
Read Canaan’s miner sales revenue alongside its product sales. Strong sales would show that miners are still buying purpose-built Bitcoin equipment, leaving demand for BGIN to compete for if it enters; weak sales would point to a harder market for BGIN’s new machines.
