Company overview

Aurelion Inc. has added a gold-focused investment strategy to its wealth-management and AI businesses. It used equity financing and a term loan to buy Tether Gold (XAUt), a digital token designed to track physical gold, and intends to hold it as its primary treasury reserve asset. Tether says the tokens are backed by gold in Swiss vaults. XAUt pays no interest, so investment returns depend on price appreciation; generating additional income from the holdings remains a plan.

Its operating revenue comes almost entirely from one Asian financial-services customer. That customer pays subsidiary InnoSphere Tech to build a private AI system using WealthAI 360, combining a wealth-management language model, an enterprise knowledge base and AI tools for customer service and internal teams. A much smaller business helps wealthy clients in Asia choose insurance products through Hong Kong brokers. The brokers pay referral fees when those clients buy policies, and this revenue also depends on a single broker.

The treasury strategy depends on XAUt’s value, access to financing and the ability to hold and sell the tokens. If XAUt is classified as a security and Aurelion consequently falls under U.S. investment-company rules, it could have to reduce its holdings; if it cannot avoid that status, it would be prohibited from making public securities offerings in the United States.
