Company

Company overview

Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. operates two businesses: digital assets through MindWave and clinical drug development through Lokahi Therapeutics. MindWave holds and sells digital assets and advances the MindWaveDAO blockchain. Sales of NILA Tokens bring in USDT, which the company uses to support liquidity and pay blockchain and token-management expenses. Its Bitcoin holdings primarily serve as a treasury reserve rather than a customer service.

The company is also developing a platform to help corporations and institutions hold, manage and earn returns on Bitcoin reserves. It plans to charge treasury-management fees based on assets managed and share in returns from yield programs. This platform is still being built, not an established commercial offering. Apimeds is not directly licensed to provide custody, trade execution or intermediary services, so the planned business depends on regulated partners for those functions.

Lokahi is developing Apitox, a drug whose active ingredient is bee venom. The biopharmaceutical business has not generated revenue. Apimeds licenses the U.S. development and commercialization rights from Apimeds Korea and would owe royalties on earnings from Apitox sales or licensing. It buys venom from Apico under an exclusive U.S. pharmaceutical-use supply arrangement and relies principally on manufacturing trade secrets because the natural bee-venom ingredient itself is not patentable.
