AmpliTech Group helps customers amplify and process radio signals for telecommunications, satellite communications and defense systems. It designs and assembles amplifiers and related subsystems to customer specifications, and sells customized 5G radio equipment. Manufacturing and engineering bring in most of its revenue, with 5G radios contributing a large share of total sales. Customers include network operators, equipment makers and defense organizations; named customers include Viasat and Lockheed Martin.
A second substantial business, Spectrum Semiconductor Materials, earns revenue by distributing integrated-circuit packages and lids worldwide. This sits alongside AmpliTech’s own component and equipment manufacturing rather than replacing it.
Revenue depends mainly on customer purchase orders, not long-term purchase commitments. One unnamed major telecommunications provider supplies a substantial share of sales through customized 5G radio orders. Continued orders from that customer therefore matter greatly to the business, and its current relationship does not guarantee future purchases.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
AmpliTech’s results depend especially on continued orders from an unnamed telecommunications customer that generated 42.86% of its 2025 revenue and on improving its 5G radio margins.
TELUS is a named AmpliTech customer, so its mobile-network investment matters to demand for AmpliTech’s communications equipment and signal amplifiers. Watch how TELUS puts its acquired 5G mid-band spectrum to work serving mobile subscribers.
Viasat is a named AmpliTech customer, linking its satellite and wireless products to AmpliTech’s business supplying amplifiers that strengthen satellite-communications signals. Viasat’s sales of products and terminals for government and commercial connectivity customers are the relevant business to watch.
Inseego and AmpliTech both depend on 5G wireless-broadband adoption, but sell different equipment: Inseego sells hotspots, routers and gateways for users to connect, while AmpliTech supplies mobile networks with O-RAN radios. Watch Inseego’s mobile and fixed-wireless device revenue for signs of demand in the market behind AmpliTech’s 5G business.
UTStarcom and AmpliTech both depend on mobile operators’ network spending: UTStarcom sells equipment that carries traffic from mobile sites into the network and keeps network timing aligned, while AmpliTech sells O-RAN radios. Watch UTStarcom’s mobile-backhaul and network-synchronization business for signs of operators’ infrastructure demand.
Lockheed Martin is a named customer of AmpliTech’s radio-frequency component business, connecting AmpliTech’s signal amplifiers to a buyer that develops defense and space systems mainly for U.S. government agencies and allies. Its defense and space business is the part to watch for demand relevant to AmpliTech’s components.
Lockheed Martin Corp. earningsLMT
Lockheed Martin's defense and space business will show how demand is moving in markets relevant to AmpliTech, which names the company as a customer for its radio-frequency components.
Read Lockheed Martin's defense and space sales alongside its order trends. Strength in both would point to a more supportive demand environment for AmpliTech's radio-frequency components; weakness in both would suggest less support from this customer market. The report signals market conditions, not how much Lockheed Martin orders from AmpliTech. The conclusion is whether this part of AmpliTech's customer base faces a more or less supportive market.
Telus Corporation earningsTU
TELUS is an AmpliTech customer, and its report will show whether 5G network investment is keeping pace with mobile demand, a key link to demand for AmpliTech's communications equipment and signal amplifiers.
Read TELUS's mobile customer demand alongside its network investment. Growing demand with continued investment would show that the operator is spending to serve its users, supporting demand for AmpliTech's communications equipment and signal amplifiers; growing demand with slower investment would mean customer activity is not yet translating into comparable equipment spending. The conclusion is whether TELUS's network spending is providing stronger demand support for AmpliTech.
Viasat Inc earningsVSAT
Viasat is an AmpliTech customer, and its product and terminal sales will show how demand is moving among government and commercial connectivity customers relevant to AmpliTech's satellite-communications amplifiers.
Read Viasat's product and terminal sales alongside its government and commercial connectivity business. Strength in both would point to firmer demand for satellite connectivity products in markets relevant to AmpliTech's amplifiers; weakness in both would suggest a less supportive market. Viasat's overall results do not show how much it buys from AmpliTech. The conclusion is whether the related market is offering AmpliTech stronger or weaker support.
AMPLITECH GROUP INC. COM earningsThis company
AmpliTech's 5G radio products bring in a large share of revenue but have lower margins, so this report will show whether sales growth is squeezing the company's overall gross margin further.
Read revenue alongside gross margin, the share of sales left after direct product costs. Rising revenue with a stable or higher margin would mean added sales are not further weakening the product mix; rising revenue with a falling margin would mean lower-margin business is growing faster, so sales are not bringing a matching improvement in gross profit. The conclusion is whether AmpliTech can expand sales while protecting product economics.
